CTA is looking for an intern in EDM and on-line posting of the information products from CTA’s local and national partners
The Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Co-operation (CTA)provides support to many local and national organizations in the States in the ACP (African, Caribbean and Pacific) group. This collaboration gives these organizations the chance to design, produce and disseminate many information media in different formats: printed word, bulletins, magazines, booklets, technical sheets, etc, as well as audio and video (audio cassettes, DVD, CD-ROM, etc). To optimize these media better, CTA plans to get them gradually put on line.
The task of the intern will be:
- to log all the products available;
- to think about the management of the various media (evaluation of the characteristics of the documents – weight, code, etc – for them to be digitized and put on line) and the drafting of recommendations;
- to digitize the printed documents;
- document processing: cataloguing and indexing;
- to put the printed documents on line;
- to identify supplementary avenues.
Qualification/Training:
Student or young graduate in documentation and information.
Other skills:
- Ability to read, write and speak English or French fluently, and working knowledge of the other language;
- Ability to work in a multicultural team.
Start of internship: as soon as possible
Duration of internship: 6 months
Location: CTA headquarters (Wageningen, the Netherlands)
